Smoky Mountain Hideaway (Video Tour Below) is a nicely furnished, open floor plan log home sitting on 7 1/2 acres in a rural setting. Located just 5 minutes from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, we have spectacular views of the mountains and large, covered porches with loads of seating. There are 4 nice bedrooms that sleep 10 people along with 3 full baths that provide individual privacy for larger groups.
The house is conveniently located just 5 miles from U.S. 129 and the Dragon's Tail and only 10 minutes to the Foothills Parkway. We are only 5 minutes from great hiking inside the national park at the Abrams Creek campground. The Look Rock observation platform on the Foot Hills Parkway is also located about 15 minutes away. A fully paved driveway and two car garage make it a very convenient location for riding the Dragon. The mountain views and the house layout make it a great location for just hanging out and spending quality time with family and friends.
The house is supplied with almost anything you will need including a full laundry room and plenty of linens and towels. We have a large, fully outfitted gourmet kitchen. There's also a propane grill outside. (Propane is provided). WiFi is free and you can stream your favorite tv shows and movies with YouTube TV, Netflix, and Hulu on one of 3 tv's.
The house is not ADA compliant however it is easily accessible by those with limited mobility. There are no steps from the garage into the main living area of the house which includes the kitchen, dining room, living room and two bedrooms and two full baths.
